first_imgBACOLOD City – Charged with murder,two persons were arrested in Barangay Tabu, Ilog, Negros Occidental.  The 18-year-old Jorge Estrabela andhis 21-year-old brother James of Barangay Nangka, Bayawan City, Negros Orientalwere caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 4 p.m. on Wednesday, apolice report showed. The suspects were detained in thelockup facility of the Bayawan City police station. Southland Conference Players of the Week are presented by The Cardinals (4-3) next head west to face University of the Pacific in Stockton, Calif., at 9 p.m. CT on Thursday for their lone week four matchup. Women’s Basketball Player of the Week – Moe Kinard, Lamar – Jr. – Guard – New Iberia, La.Kinard had an impressive week, leading the Cardinals to a 2-1 record, posting wins over Howard Payne and Northern Illinois. She scored in double figures in all three games, including a double-double in the win over UNI. In that contest, she had a career-best 13 rebounds and was one shy of her career-high for points, finishing with 30.
