After playing for a couple of seasons in I-League I realise how the experiences helped me improve as a footballer,” Amarjit said.“After playing the world cup we got to know that we are participating in I-League that year. It was a great achievement for us. Initially, we were scared as there were teams like Mohun Bagan, East Bengal, Neroca and others. All of them had quality foreign recruits, and we had to compete against them.”Nonetheless, they were extremely excited as they knew the experience of playing in I-League would benefit them in future, the 19-year-old Amarjit said.“Looking back, that opportunity to play in the Hero I-League paved the way for me to play in the Hero ISL, and eventually the national team.” PTI Sport News FootballI-LeagueSportSport News Halle Open 2021 Final: Ugo Humbert defeats Andrey Rublev to become champion PUBG Mobile – Krafton IPO: PUBG Mobile promoters Krafton ready to break all records, aims 5 billion IPO PSL 2021 Playoffs Live: How to watch PSL 2021 Playoffs LIVE streaming in your country, India I-League exposure perfect ‘ladder’ for me to reach national team: Amarjit By Kunal Dhyani – August 30, 2020 Sport News YourBump15 Actors That Hollywood Banned For LifeYourBump|SponsoredSponsoredUndoPost FunThese Twins Were Named “Most Beautiful In The World,” Wait Until You See Them TodayPost Fun|SponsoredSponsoredUndoDefinitionTime Was Not Kind To These 28 CelebritiesDefinition|SponsoredSponsoredUndoDaily FunnyFemale Athlete Fails You Can’t Look Away FromDaily Funny|SponsoredSponsoredUndoDefinitionMost Embarrassing Mistakes Ever Made In HistoryDefinition|SponsoredSponsoredUndoMisterStoryWoman Files For Divorce After Seeing This Photo – Can You See Why?MisterStory|SponsoredSponsoredUndo Bett1Open 2021 Final: Liudmila Samsonova beat Belinda Bencic to clinch title India’s 2017 U-17 World Cup captain Amarjit Singh feels the exposure in the I-League helped him and his team-mates of the FIFA showpiece event mature into “better players”.In a live chat with AIFF TV, Amarjit described the I-League as the perfect “ladder” in his career.
