(Photo by Streeter Lecka/Getty Images)This college football season has already experienced a plethora of upsets so far. Now that the fifth weekend has begun, it appears more stunning losses could occur in today’s early afternoon session. It’s been extremely difficult to figure out Michigan State, as the Spartans continue their unpredictable play. From losing to Arizona State to defeating Indiana with ease, Mark Dantonio’s team has proven to be very inconsistent.Unfortunately, that trend won’t die this weekend, as Michigan State is on “upset alert” against Central Michigan. After Central Michigan struck first, the Spartans drove into the red zone, but an ill-advised interception from Brian Lewerke swung the momentum in their opponent’s favor.Interception! If the No. 21 Spartans lose to Central Michigan, they’d fall to 2-2 on the season.Right now, Michigan State trails 3-0 at the end of the first quarter. The game is available on FS1.
